A NEW workshop this season which introduces the photographic process from image capture by the camera through digital processing to final image as either a Projected Image or Print. Aimed at the beginner or more experienced photographers wishing to 'brush up' their technical and visual skills.

To introduce the photographic process from image capture by the camera through digital processing to final image as either a Projected Image or Print.
Five sessions of two hours each with instruction and hands-on experience. Participants to use their own cameras. Computer work and printing will be done as a group.
• 1. Image Capture Basics
The essential camera controls – exposure, focus, shutter speed, aperture, lens choice – how they effect the resultant image. Composing the image – viewpoint, timing. Preparing for the shooting session.
• 2. The Shooting Session
An outside location where all the group will be helped in gathering images. Hands-on with your camera.
• 3. Initial Image Processing
The group is introduced to digital processing using Lightroom and Photoshop. Each participate (with help) chooses a few images to work on. Instructor led session.
• 4. Further Image Processing
Creative digital processing using Lightroom and Photoshop. Each participate will work with the group on one or two images.
• 5. Making Prints
Each participant will produce at least one A4 print in this session.
Depending on the needs and desires of the group further sessions will be organized.
